so I was trying to downgrade and I know I didn't do anything wrong..anyways it said a fatal error occurred and it never downgraded. My curve is working fine but when I plug it in desktop manager it asks for a password. I never created a password. help me please.
If you've ever enabled a password at any time, try it. Wiping the device doesn't erase the password memory. It's possible though unlikely the error resulted in an old one being reapplied.
Were you following McClure's procedure? It's easy to make a mistake unless you're following a script.
If you can't come up with a password, you will have no choice but to wipe your device. You will lose your personal content and have to restore from your most recent backup.
