Hi all, I am anew blackberry user as well as new to the site...i am windering if their is anyway to delete multiple text messages or emails..takes awhile to delete them 1 at a time. Thanks for any info.
Holding shift is the easiest way I have found to delete multiple messages at one time. Also you don't have to click the menu button then delete, you can just hit the delete key and then it will ask you if you want to delete them.
Yes. In your Message list, scroll to a message from that sender. Press Menu. Select "Search Sender". Wait for the search to finish. Scroll to the date at top of the list. Press Menu. Select "Delete Prior". Then messages from that sender will be deleted.
Yeah, I use that a lot. I get a bunch of different Google Alerts. I read them throughout the week and then typically at the end of the week, I clear them out that way.
Another great tip. If you got text messages from the same sender and you want to delete all of them quickly highlight one of the messages with the address you want to delete. Then hit the menu key hit the s key three times then click the trackball. highlight all the messages found and hit delete.
