    LAST thread today, I promise.

Is there a way to delete the bookmarks that came already set on my Blackbery Curves internet? I don't see a delete option anywhere - other than on the bookmarks I, myself, have set.

    Thanks in advance.

Try this, open DM, connect BB, go to backup/restore,
click advanced, in the pane on the right highlight
Browser Bookmarks and press clear. This will remove ALL
bookmarks. Now on your BB open the browser and add back the
    bookmarks you want.

Just what I was looking to do. Vzw hawking programs at the top of my bookmarks, and downloads is a broken link too. Will attempt when I get off this damn train!!

just did this on Verizon 8330, 4.3 and no joy.
    i still have these....

deleted all the stuff i put in manually... no biggie.. but left vzw's crap.
that's a shame, because i'd love to get rid of the vzw stuff.

This I haven't tried so you may want to backup first,
but what if you deleted browser folders instead.

Yow!! OK, my suggestion is wrong.
Must be a VZW thing, but I did try it
on my end and it worked. Then I just
restored the d/base and got it all back.

Sorry for the false hope guys.

vzw has a way of munging up phones and devices.

i get great discounts, and great coverage - where i need it. trust me next/sprint/att all do not work in the places i play. i have tried. the other companies have all the gadgets though.

don't see why you need to delete them... but even if you do a reset or resending books will reinstall them. if you want to clean up the bookmarks maybe you can create a folder and put the stuff into one folder..
