hi all,

BB newbie here...one who does at least cursory research on forums before posting...

I've read a lot of threads about hiding icons that are not wanted (like i want to get rid of facebook, handango inhand and t-zones icons off my home screen). But when i hide them, they just dim/gray out and stay selectable. Is there any way to actually remove the icons, not just dim them by selecting 'hide' from menu? i'm using the default tmo provided theme if that matters.

When you press menu, if there is a check next to "Show All", scroll
to it and press the trackball. That will completely hide them.

There are some icons that you simply cannot delete. They are
"pushed" to your phone by your carrier via a service book. If you
delete them they will come back if you resend your service books
or when no add a new theme.
