I have two BB 8700 + 8310 Working on T-Mobile UK
I have updated the OS from v4.2 to v4.5.0.108 on my 8700 with the OS from T-Mobile UK website and this works perfect.

BUT the 8310 update from v4.2 to v4.5.0.108 HAS made my BB completely unusable all i get is a white screen with large circel with the letter I

As one Londoner to another, are you sure that you have OS 4.5.0.108? To my, admittedly meagre, knowledge the latest available is .99 or .100 or maybe .102.

My advice would be to go back to a more stable version .93 is fairly widely available and you should be able to find an OS 4.2 variant easily enough.

If you cannot, please PM me and I will try to help you out.

Once you have a new OS on your PC you should also get CrackMem from the link on my sugnature.

yes iam sure os v4.5.0.108 downloaded from T-Mobile UK website
and os v4.5.0.108 is working on my 8700 bb

I don't know what he's downloaded. Os 4.5.0.69 is the highest I see on T-mo UK. Build .72

First things first, this guy has a busted phone. Let's see if we can sort that out first.

What happened when you downloaded CrackMem?
Were you able to use the WIpe PHone button to do anything to the phone?

Do you have Desktop Manager installed?

It is rare that a bricked phone stays bricked on CB.

it felt like my right arm was missing.
i went to my phone dealer gave them the bb phone they could not get it working so they gave me a brand new 8310 in the box and said have a nice day . I love my dealer, the bricked bb8310 was 12 months old,now have new one at no cost. THANK YOU ALL
