I have a BB 8310. I do not have a BB internet data plan but I do have an unlimited text plan. I can receive/send text without any problems. The only way for me to receive/send any MMS is to have the data service set to On.

My question is will I get charged for this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes you will be charged, unless the carrier's accounting system screws up. Text uses voice channels, MMS is data.

I had a samsung blackjack and my friend gave me his BB curve. I had the unlimited test plan/mms plan on my account and I always send pics and received pics with my blackjack. Why is different with a BB?

MMS requires data on BlackBerry. That's just the way that it is.
