I know there is a very simple way to fix this - but for the life of me, I cannot figure it out.

My husband has a Curve just like I do. When he gets an incoming call or message, he pulls the Curve from the holster and screen doesn't light up so he can't tell who is calling, etc...
This doesn't happen on my BB so something must be off on his settings. I have tried to compare settings, however he usually is on the way out the door when he remembers and doesn't want to wait around while I try to fix the problem.

Two things, have you tried a battery pull? I take it, it was working correctly?

Lastly, check options / screen & keyboard / verify the settings there...
