There's a shortcut maker somewhere but I don't have the link handy. Why not just create a bookmark in the BB browser? I personally never understood why people don't just do that rather than clutter up their home screen with icons.
You can use MobiSiteGalore, Mofuse, or Zinadoo to create your very own custom web page. You have to register for a free account online using your PC. After you've setup your page you can then access it from your blackberry. Then you can make it your default home page. If you need to make changes to your page, simply log back into your account with your PC to do so. MobeSiteGalore is the only one of the three that allows you to make changes using your mobile browser. Best of all, they're free. MobeSiteGalore does not have any banner ads, but the other two have them.
