    I noticed the last two mornings, after I turn on my Curve it get emails and the alerts (wav sound I get for them) but for almost a minute, the Curve is very sluggish and the hourglass runs. After a minute, goes away and never happens again. I had 4 emails this morning and just 1 yesterday. What is causing this?

    Are you turning your device off at night?

    I suggest just changing the profile to quiet, rather than turning it off.

    Also, check available memory (options \ status, or options \ memory depending on your OS). Lastly, do an ALT&LGLG, and clear the logs...

    I got 33 megs open, just had it a week. Yes I turn it off, as I don't need it on at night.

    It takes the device a minute or two to settle down. It's simply completing loading everything similiar to a pc. This is normal.
