    Hey all,

I just noticed that when I turn my Curve 8330 off, then on, it doesn't read the memory card or do the security verification anymore. When I do a battery pull, however, it does show that. Any reason why? Could it have to do with the fact that I recently uninstalled a theme from my berry and also switched back to the regular Verizon theme?

    Thanks!

It only does the security check on a reset or battery pull. When you "turn off" the phone it is not truly off and when you turn it back on it is not supposed to do the security check again because it has already done it for that uptime cycle. If you check status it will show you current uptime since last battery pull or reset. Will only do those checks when that returns to zero.

Okay, thank you. There was something wrong with my berry after I uninstalled a theme then changed a theme, so I wiped my device and restored it and all seems well now. Wiping a device isn't bad for my berry, right?
