Curve and Lotus Notes BES emails
We have a user who has presented us with a very perplexing problem. All Lotus Notes emails come into the BB inbox as read even though he had not opened the Messages folder (which means he is ignoring his emails because he is not even aware he has new emails) but when he goes to his LN desktop, all the emails are showing as unread (because he hasn't actually read them). We have wiped the phone (several times), reinstalled the OS (it is now on 4.5), re-created his mail file (several times) and re-activated his Enterprise account (also several times), you name it, and the problem persists. Server settings are the same for everyone, but his is the only phone with this problem. The settings on the phone matches all other BBs for email synchronization and conflict resolution. If anyone has come across this and can recommend a solution, it would be much appreciated, otherwise we'll have to take his phone away from him.
