I have a VzW curve and just recently the indicator light turned solid red
no blinking or anything. When I get a txt or vm it blinks but once they are
cleared it goes to solid red.
When I pulled the battery it clears, but then after about 10 minutes or with
any use of the phone it comes back? Any ideas on how to clear it or correct
it?

ok the Indicator light now stays off after reboot until I get a txt msg or berry msg or email. It then blinks and then does not shut off.
any ideas ?

check screen/keyboard settings for notification, led, etc. set to blink once.

I checked there and the only option in the menu is:
LED Coverage Indicator: Off
