    so i upgraded to bbm 5.0 a few days ago but didnt like it cause i thought it was causing my curve to reset, so i switched back to 4.5 but my phone is still resetting, anyone have any ideas of why its doing this?

    I had the same issue and ended up getting it replaced (via warranty through Sprint). Apparently, it was an operating system error and similar to the blue screen of death of a PC, your BB is resetting in an effort to protect the operating system.

    It wouldn't hurt to try.

    Also, another thing that is known to cause reboots is the media card. If downgrading your OS doesn't work, try removing your media card and see if that stops it.

    Just reload .131 it's better, IMO than .77

    Memory card is a good suggestion. Try that first. Mem card often gets corrupted during OS upgrades.

    Then connect your BB to the usb and load the go to C:\Programs\Common Files\Research in Motion\Apploader and make sure to remove the vendor.xml file if it is there. Then double-click on loader.exe to start reloading the OS on your BB.

    I had the same issue on my wifes phone a while back when ntrying to downgrade OS's. I ended up getting it to work by using a different pc.
