When I read an IMAP message on my blackberry Curve, I can easily see that a few moment later it is flagged as 'read' in Outlook. But the reverse doesn't seem to happen. If I read my imap emails on the computer first, then pick up the Blackberry, then, well, the emails are all there but not flagged as 'read' as they should be. Any ideas why?
As far as I know, that's just how it is (I don't know the technical reasoning). I have Gmail set up as IMAP and it does the same thing; marks read in Gmail if I read it on the BB, but won't come up as read on the BB if I check it through Gmail. It's a pain in the arse but I guess it could be worse...like POP!
