Curve 8330 wont turn back on... HELP Please

Curve 8330 wont turn back on... any help greatly appreciated!!

My 8330 Curve got thrown (we wont go there!! ) Anyhow... since then it will not come back on. When i push the power button the LED lights up Red, blinks a couple times like it might be doign somethig..... but never comes on and stops blinking!

Also, in all of this the creen was completely oblitorated!! Just the cover part, so i peeled the clear cover away to see the underneath screen better. That screeen seems to be perfectly fine... my question is can i get that screen replaced??? Is it to costly to bother with it??

I had Insurance of course and have already gotten my replcement phone but i was hoping i might get it working again to give to my Best Friend. she's been wanting one but we all know this ecomoy is tight. so, any thought, suggestions, help, would be greatly appreciated!!

maybe one of the connectors to the screen got disconnected....

Thats what i was thinking... and thats probably true because i cant see ANYTHING on the screen. But also you can tell its not getting power.

Take it apart and see if the little ribbon cable from the motherboard to the LCD is not only intact, but connected as well. A new complete faceplate will run you less than $10.oo shipped on eBay in whatever color you fancy. Just a new LCD plastic cover, is $2.oo shipped. I go through them like potato chips.
A new LCD is less than $20.oo as well.
