I have my phone set to vibrate and tone when receiving calls, sms's, and so forth. From time-to-time when I receive a sms, my phone goes into a continuous vibrate and the only thing I can do to stop it, is remove the battery. Can someone please tell me what causes this and how to stop it? Thanks

Sounds like liquid damage, check the indicator under the battery.

Nope. All dry. No condensation or anything. I haven't spilled anything near it.

Update your OS recently? Also, when did this start?

It started a few weeks ago. And I checked to see if Verizon had the most recent OS, but the latest version they have is 4.3 which is the version I have.

No...I hadn't installed any new apps. I hate to take it back because they'll give me a refurbished phone if they can't figure out the cause and I don't want a refurbished phone.

    Thanks...
