So my wife has the 8330 Curve for Verizon and she has had it for a while now, and just upgraded the software to the latest version....but we're noticing it is going super slow now, even to open up text messages. It does not have a ton of apps so it is fine on space. Whatever is open is always properly closed, not just exited.
If it's the 4.5.0.160 OS, then unfortunately, that is very buggy with the Verizon network. I would recommend 4.5.0.131 over the .160, it is much more stable.
If your wife's BB has a memory card, try taking it out and see if the lag goes away.
Sometimes the filesystem on the media card gets corrupted during an OS update. To fix, transfer everything off the card, reformat the card in the BB, then move your files back to the card.
