my girl's has a curve 8330 and was running an old OS. i started to update it and the phone "bricks" on us. i went to verizon today to replace it and got a new one alreading running the new OS. The issue i'm having is getting the new phone to load her calendar reminders she had set up on her old phone. i backed up the phone before i did it.
Also i had backed up the phone on desktop 4.3 (i think) and also recently changed that to 5.0 today. She has all of her contacts, pix, etc.. but none of her apps, themes, or calendar moved over. Not sure if it because the old phone was running a different OS or the Desktop update.
