My Curve 8310's voice dial does not not work. Whenever I try to use it, it initializes but then turns all the way off. I must remove the battery and when I put it back in the voice dialing still doesn't work.
I have a similar problem. I've had my 8310 for three weeks and voice dialing worked fine until yesterday, when I resynchronized my address book with Outlook. Now, when I click on the "Voice Dialing" icon, nothing happens. (Possible clue: when I unhooked my Blackberry from my computer, I got some error messages about problems with DLLs.)
I had experienced the same problem on my 8310. Check your file free memory. That was my problem. If your file free memory drops below 12mb the Curve starts misbehaving.
