I have a Blackberry Curve 8310 with 4.2.2.170 and i nuked my blackberry twice already when i tried to upgrade to the newest software 4.5 or whatever. i used the desktop blackberry program and all seemed fine until the end when i turned it back on and it was nuked. Any help? i want to upgrade but want to make sure i wont nuke it again

The upgrade procedure is complicated and there is a risk you will be left with a non-functional device.

Your best bet would be to ask a more technically inclined friend for help. In the right hands, the instructions will reliably rebuild your device.
