i recently found a blackberry curve 8310 for at&t.. i inserted my sim card also for at&t.. my number comes up but i cant make any phone calls or receive neither text message.. There is something on the corner screen that says SOS can someone help me.

It was probably reported lost or stolen. Therefore the pin is no good. And the phone can never be used again.

call at&t and report that you found the phone. they will trace the IMEI/PIN to find its owner. or search the contacts or find the last call made and report to them you have the phone to find the owner. dont be a schmuck.
