Yes. A community this big would have an pretty good turn out in a Crackberry chat room. It would provide an almost instant troubleshoot tool as well. Not to mention make for some good laughs I'm sure.

geared toward BlackBerry's. I haven't used them but I know
they exist.

AG, I think he means an actual chat room; not like a google group that relies on email. Like BBM, just online.

Exactly. You know, there are all the tabs and icons for ringtones, software, blogs. Why not add one more for a easily accessible Crackberry chat?

As much as chat would be nice, for teching would be difficult. Imagine this - my email stopped how do I resolve this? then 20 people would answer with all good things to try and most of them would roll of the screen just a thought, but for live chat would be AWSOME!

Point your IRC client at irc.nixhelp.org, channel #berrychat

jmIrc (free) is pretty good if you wan't to do it from your BB.

Well the point would be for all us CB users to just have a place to shoot the bull. So many threads get off topic from one or two posts. Then it just becomes a chatter box. I know of several forums that have dockable\undockable chat rooms built in. MIRC is an ok but it isnt official and newbs will def not know how to access it. Esp if they use IE instead of the almighty Firefox.
