    Hello

What is the easiest way to copy contacts from one blackberry to another? I have a friend who got a new phone and switched carriers and wants to copy over only the contacts.

    Thanks

You know I just answered my own question

It seems that ABC Amber does this nicely so long as you have a backup of the original device.

I think I'll go this route.

ABC costs $20. You can do it using Desktop Manager and Restore selectively from a Backup for free.

Connect the new BB, open DM, Open the Backup and Restore utility, click on Advanced. At the top left of the window, click on File, Open, navigate to the backup file from the old BB, click Open. A list of Databases will appear in the left pane (Computer databases). Click on Address Book, click on the >> button between the left and right panes and the Address Book contents will be transferred to the new BB.
