    I didn't know how to title this thread.

    Here's my problem. When my 8310 isn't on the charger, it won't send/receive, access the internet, etc if it falls below 90%.

    Why is that??

    I can't upgrade to the Bold until June but what can I do until then.

    Sounds like the battery needs to be replaced... How old is the battery? Can you make calls while its NOT on the charger?

    FYI - if it is the battery replacements from amazon.com are about 4 bucks if you can wait for it to be shipped.

    Oh wow. Battery issue?? Didn't think of that. I don't know how old the battery is but I will replace it anyway.

    I am not 100% sure what the issue is but I do believe it is the battery. If it works fine on the charger while being powered but taking it off stops everything from working, it would make sense that it is the battery not pushing enough power to make the device work properly.

    I would hang out a bit and see if some others can give better advice, just in case
