OK so I've got my a BB Curve 8320 should be here Tuesday and i know the 8310,8300 and 8330 are just from different Wireless phone companies but what i don't understand is where does a model like 8700 or 8800 fit in. What im trying to say is what is the Chronological Order of Newest to Oldest model? Like the two newest models would be Bold(9000Series) then the Curve(8000Series) I think.. but is the 8800 the 2nd newest Model since its the closest to the bold in Model model?

BlackBerry has been making devices for 10 years now, every one has been an improvement on what has come before.

81xx, 83xx and 88xx are the first models available to consumers. We can ignore the earlier models, they are only available to corporate accounts.

That brings us to 9xxx. The Bold is the first of a new generation of BlackBerrys.

The great news is, BlackBerry continues to fund the development of advanced software for their existing product line.

A Curve with v4.5 OS is a slimmed down Bold. Same feature set, just a little slower and smaller.
