Alright, I like the curve, but hate silver / colored phones. I was wondering, I know you can send your phone into colorware to have them "color" it, be it paint, vynal, then sealer, what have you. Not the point. But can I send in just the case to have colored, that way I wont be without my phone?
Buy a standard case from cnn.cn take the original off, send it in, have them do it while I use another case, think that might work?
Anyone with personal experience on the topic, please.
they won't do it
I've tried asking them that and it actually mentions that in their site somewhere that they only take the complete functioning item and not just the case, sucks!
The reason for a full unit is because they have templates setup to do a full bodied phone, it would become a serious pain to have something moving around and it will mess up the whole process.
Plus they also turn the unit on to make sure its working after painting it.
