    Hey guys,
I have a Curve with OS 4.5.0.160 w/Verizon. For about 4 days now I keep getting this chirping sound while I'm talking on the phone. Does anyone have a clue why this might be or how I can get it to stop? I upgraded to this OS months ago when it was leaked and this is the first time this has happened.

I'm really contemplating upgrading to a Tour in the near future but until then I will be sticking to my old faithful Curve.

    Thanks in advance!

It's the dreaded speakerphone blast. It's a annoying thing for the curve on Verizon. I had it with my curve. You will need to upgrade to another OS. I forget which ones don't have it though. Search and there may be a thread for the speakerphone blast free OS

That's actually the chirp and not the speakerphone blast. I have had both!
I use a hybrid OS of .131 and .160. Search the forums for a hybrid and you should find an OS that will get rid of that chirp. .131 was the best.
