I want to change my tone for my texts but I have no idea how to. I thought maybe I would have to go to advanced on the profile option, but it didnt work. Please help. Thanks!

Profiles/advanced/menu button(left of trackball)/edit , then browse for the tone you want. Hope this helps. And welcome to Crackberry !

This was so helpful. Now, I emailed myself a ring tone that I was to make my MMS and SMS and email notifier... but its not in the list.
Now what? How do I make it my SMS/MMS/email tone?

Go to PROFILES>ADVANCED>HIGHLIGHT YOUR PROFILE YOUR USING>CLICK THE BLACKBERRY BUTTON>CLICK EDIT>GO TO SMS TEXT CLICK IT>CLICK RINGTONE>GO TO BROWSE AND SEARCH FROM THERE. DON'T CLICK BROWSE UNLESS YOU HAVE A MEMORY CARD.
