change from icons to list?

Is there a way to change the main screen to a list type menu? I know how to read and don't need stupid pictures. I hate this *#£$ing phone!

You would need a theme that has them typed out, don't think I've seen any. But you can put in a request at the theme lounge forum and someone might cook one up for you.
