    I bought my Curve 8310 about two months ago, and I love it. But suddenly it's not working quite right (if there's already a thread for this, I apologize for starting a new one.)

    Up until today, I've always been able to type a person's name in the "to" field when sending an email and it would look up that person from my list of contacts. Now that doesn't work, except for one particular entry in the address book.

    Any suggestions?

    Evidently the problem is in the address book itself: I can only look up entries in the address book that have been recently edited. And it isn't ordering them correctly - I edited one yesterday that starts with "c", and it's now displaying ahead of the "a" entries.

    Anyone else having this problem?

    Have you done a backup lately? If yes, reload that backup...

    I synchronize it with Outlook every other day or so. Is that what you mean by a backup? (I'm still fairly new at this.)

    EDIT: I've found the backup function now in the Desktop Manager. I'm going to try backing it up and restoring - probably I'll wind up in the same place I am now, but we'll see.
