Exclamation Cannot connect 8330 vzw curve to internet; no service books. Tried everything.

I've called up verizon. They had me do everything. I tried host routing table, it only says "registration message sent", and doesn't do anything.
My service only says 1X, no EV or whatever the internet is. Verizon says that it's only voice and text, not internet.
They had me call *22899, it says successful, but that didn't work. I go into my wireless status, and it says -

"voice Services - status:available. Blackberry internet service: Not connected; Blackberry Enterprise server: not connected".

There are NO service book entries in the phone to begin with, so I cannot delete them and re-add them. I've tried registering my phone on the blackberry dot /go/vzw, but it says that I need to do the host routing table to activate it with verizon, but that doesn't work.

Verizon says I should just upgrade to a new phone, but i don't have the money to just buy a new smartphone!

Hi Tom! I want to suggest something that I have seen work on other devices.

Go into your manual programming by dialing ##000000 then press send.
You should get a CDMA service edit screen.
Verify your Blackberry Registration ID is 2004.
Also SIP & MIP user id should be mobilenumber @vzw3g.com (no spaces, had to add this for Crackberry).
Enter vzw for the SIP password. Press the Blackberry Menu button to save.
The phone will reboot.

You should be having data with 1X, when the letter is lowercase (1x) that means no data.

You said you have no Service Books, have you tried re-sending them? Open your Email Settings icon (BIS Account), log in to your account, hit menu button, select Service Books, then click the "Send Service Books" button on the bottom. You can also do it from the computer, sign into your Verizon BIS account, click the Help button, then Send Service Books.

After doing this you should receive an email in each one of your accounts you have on the phone.

Also, how long has this been an issue?

Just to get it out of the way, you do have a bis plan? I assume yes because you're on Verizon, but it doesn't hurt to make sure.
