I know you can click on the date and then hit options, "delete prior."

But if I have a total of say, 10 messages, can I select #1, 4, 6 and 9 and delete them while leaving the rest?

At work on my computer, I can hold control down and select the specific messages I want deleted.

Is there a button on the blackberry that will do that?

You can hold down the caps button and scroll. That only works for messages in a row though like 1,2,3,4,5 not like 1,7,9,14

You can hold cap and scroll to select multiple messages but you can't skip and select multiples messages that way.
