A guy in mt small group had life threatening surgery today. I'm in charge of sending out text updates from my BB.

I'm sending them out to 14 people so it is taking forever to add them to my SMS "To:" box one at a time. I know you can create group email lists, but so far I haven't found a way to do this for SMS messages.

I know you can "email" text messages but I don't know everyone's services providers.

Does the Curve provide a way to send group text messages?

No problem.

1. goto the address book
2. click the menu button
3. scroll and click new group
4. give your new group (texting list) a name
5. click and select add member
6. make sure you specify their cell # for text messages
7. rinse and repeat

You should be able to save the list and then when sending a text to your group just specify the group name. Very slick, works like a champ.

Edit: Known to work on the 8330. Can't be sure of other models. Should be a similar process.
