I want to lock a text message so it doesn't get deleted when I choose delete prior. Anyone know how to do it?

Not sure about locking, but there's a save option.

Go into Options...General Options and set Hide Filed Messages to Yes. Then hilight the message, press the menu button and select Save. Delete the original, press the menu button and select View Saved Messages.

I did it but what does that do?

Puts the message in a separate "saved" folder. Short cut key V works for the saved messages as well if you don't want to pull up the full menu. I don't think it will auto-delete after a certain amount of days either. It all depends on your settings for the saved messages.

Oh ok, I accidently deleted it without saving so I'll have to try it next time someone sends me a savable one. Thanks for the help

Thers a program tht will let u transfer ur txt 2 email. That way it will stay on ur email as long as when u delete email u just select handheld. I think the prog is txt to mail. Pretty sure the app is avail on crackb
