I ask because in the sticky I see the 4.3?
If I can get the 4.5 is there any benefit to it......will it make my browser faster?
If it is faster will someone help me download it with me screwing up my BB.

    Thank you please.

Yes you can. It is a beta and not an official release. There may be some bugs.

Man, html email sure would be sweet! I thought I heard several people say that the Browser in 4.5 is worlds better than the 4.3 browser??

I don't care so much how faster it is , mine is blazing fast already , I just thought it was supposed to have better features than the current browser?

I guess that would depend on your phone and or provider. Look at the bottom back of your phone what does it say?

The sense of speed is subjective to what you are used to. My Berry loads a page in about 4-5 seconds. That is more than fast enough for my needs and a lot faster than the LAN at my work.

I am happy with the speeds. I suppose it possible some of you guys "require" a 1-2 second page load and in which case the Curve takes 2x longer than you want?? All in the eyes of the CrackHead I guess.

The only times that has happened to me , it has taken a few minutes running script and eventually gives me a network timeout error , I have done a battery pull and all is well.

Also I clear my cache and history daily. That alone makes a difference.

    Define faster?
Are you having any problems with your Browser?
When was the last time you clear your Browser cache?
How many apps do you have running in the background?

If you have dial from home disabled just press "O" while in the browser then select Cache Operations.

Alternatively you can just select menu/options/ Cache Operations while using th browser.

The beta is an OS (operating system) it just means that it is one that has not been officially released.
I have to wonder if the CDMA curve is really any faster than my GSM curve from the sounds of it not really. Anyway when your used to 24 mbps anything seems slow needles to say my friends hate me going on about how slow their High speed internet is.
