I have a sprint 8330 curve and was wondering can i change my email icon ? The current icon is an envelope with a purple y at the bottom. Thanks for any help.

That is a yahoo icon.

Theme related.. but I have a yahoo launcher that is what you are describing, I dont have yahoo pushed to my phone but have the launcher if I feel like checking it..

Other than that, the one you see is because more than likely yahoo is pushed to your phone and thats all theme related as far as the icons look for default services.

Please correct me if Im wrong but cant you just link your yahoo mail account to your BB through "setup email account" and simply hide the yahoo icon ?

Yes you can but some want to hide the msgs folder and have seperate mail boxes for each acct. I hide the seperate mailboxes and just use the msg folder. To each their own.

The 2nd or 3rd page of that topic has several diff icons to choose from. You need FileScout to replace the stock images.
And you can make your email icons look like this:


The gmail one actually turns read when you move the selector over it.
