Hi I've heard people watching Youtube vids on their curves but I can't get this to work on my device. I'm running OS 4.5.

I go in thru m.youtube. When I select vid a screen up with a 'Start stream' link. I click on this and get media player vid screen but it doesn't play or stream, its just blank. Then my BB freezes when I exit and turns itself off, like a battery pull.

Do I need separate software to play vids on it or am I missing something?

The Curve does not have streaming but can play videos that are uploaded to it to via DM I believe.

It does have straming. I watch youtube all the time on my curve. Also another website for straming videos is mywaves.com. Small little website but it still streams

You may need to reload your OS if a simple battery pull does not solve your problem

While in the browser, push the Blackberry button, options, browser config, then check all boxes and save. Then go try a video on youtube.

Also make sure your APN is in the TCP area, if orange has one, you may have to call or google it.

Ok, got all boxes ticked except Java (heard that slows down browser..?)

Really don't want to wipe BB and re-install OS (too risky) - battery pull doesn't change it.

Rachel - in english please! tcp is in advanced options but dunno what it is / does. I'm on unlimited data plan with Orange, so this should include all web content right, like video?

Ok tried that and same thing except it shut itself down without me touching it. Maybe I should try going into another site to see if it will play video?
