is it possible for the BB 8310 to share the internet connection of a PC? The PC is connected to the internet and the BB would use that connection. I think that this is probably is not a feature that many people would care about but in my situation it would be useful.

I can't think of any way to make that work.

The other way round, yes. The phone acts as a modem, called tethering, works fine but to use the PC as the Internet and then to use the phone to access internet via that, I can't think of any way.

If you don't have wifi I don't think it's possible. I know you can pair to a PC via BT but I don't know if it can be used as for network connectivity on the BB. I do know that BT is capable of network connectivity though. I used BT on my palm T5 to use a laptops internet connection where I traveled a couple years ago to a meetup with some online friends. So it is possible given that there is software for the BB to do it with.
