- Hello, I have the BB 8320 and I live in Israel,
I travel quit a lot to Europe, All my phone book has the Israeli country code +972
The issue is when Im in Israel the operator sends the caller ID without the +972 extension. That means: the number on my mobile is +972-52-777777
And Im receiving from the provider the number of 052-777777
When I had the Nokia mobile it was checking only 5-6 digits so I had no issues.
Is there a way to program the BB to show the caller ID?
Iv called my mobile provider and they do not have any option to change the way the caller ID shows on their end, they can activate caller ID or deactivate it thats it.
Please your help.

I have a similar situation... My carrier send the local numbers without the country code, so I have deleted those country codes from my AB and CallerID works fine now... BUT, when receiving a SMS the carrier send the number with the country code +381 so the identification doesn't work in SMS... Very strange... TechSupport has no answer, BB manual has no answer...06-25-08 03:11 AMLike 0
