    I know it is expensive to buy an unlocked curve ($500?) but i want to buy it and use my t-mobile service with it. Customer care has no clue if it will even be available on their network, but is it worth it and safe to buy an unlocked device? Will my t-mobile service work well with it? Feedback please.

    you shouldn't spend more than 400 for one nowadays. Ebay has them for less than 400 unlocked.

    after i put my sim card in, how do i get to my t-zones page? everything else should work like normal, right? i bought an unlocked treo 680 and had no problems with my sim card and tmo service.

    I'm not sure if you'll get that. That's not something that's loaded from the SIM, but rather from the device...

    I have an AT&T unlocked Curve, on T-Mobile, and don't have T-Zones. But, then again, I don't really need it, and I don't particularly use it. Hopefully someone can provide us with the web address, and we can manully enter it, and save it as a favourite...

    i can buy it from an at&t dealer for $500....how easy is it do unlock myself??? or should i just order an unlocked one online for like the same price? thanks for all your help.

    i just bought it from comp usa for $399, the cheapest but it was locked with att&t....im gonna buy the code to unlock it. i will let you know!
