according to the ad where I purchased mine they claim it was an atomic trackball or false advertistments... yet other sites that are selling the g1 are now saying it's the "so called atomic trackball" ummm but in the end it's much better than the original white tb that came with the BB. I have no complaints one way or the other. It's very smooth to scroll and it won't get dingy looking

regardless of the name it's nicer than the original one... I guess that's why I can't find it on ebay anymore plus CNN.CN stop saying the "so called atomic" trackball. I was just over there earlier now it's GONE! Oh well it's still worth the purchase and the use.
