All of the sudden, in the middle of scrolling down a web page, my scroll wheel does not sense the downward motion. This has happened before but only for a few seconds. This time it has been a couple of hours and I cannot figure out how to fix it. Someone help please!!!!!

push the ball in, and scroll down, alternatively, you can take it out and clean the contacts, and clean the ball with alcohol.

Try a battery pull also.
