Has anyone had this problem? I didn't realize it was broken until I took it to see if they could clean my ball area. I'm gettin a refurb in the next few days but was told not to get too attached to it incase they can't fix the port send my phone back. Grrrr I think I might be the only person who has weird issues with bb lol

The charger still plugs in it but it wiggles and there's a lot of propping and stuff. But one wrong move and the dang thing resets while its plugged in.

As to the charging pod Pete referenced, you can pick one of those
up at a T-Mobile retail store for $7 (Sorry, not trying to hurt the
store, but cheaper is cheaper)
Oh thanks for the input! But yeah if the refirber people can't fix. My phone, then they send me my broke one back and I send them theirs back and I use my insur to get another refurb for like 100

Insurance will get you a brand new bb and should only be $50.
I wonder if that charging pod will charge a Curve with the Seidio extended battery and battery cover? Seidio's charge does not charge it, which seemed kind of odd / ridiculous to me but that's a different story.
I'm on my 3rd BlackBerry World Edition in a year -- all have had charging port problems AND I use BlackBerry chargers. I've been given refurb replacements twice. There is obviously something wrong with their charging port. I was going to wait for the new Storm before I bought a new smartphone but with this problem I'm thinking of going back to a Treo. I can't afford to go phoneless every few months because of a faulty product.
