I bought a boost blackberry from a guy on craigslist. I tried to set my email up and the guys email is stored.. i call boost and they tell me that i have to create a new account via a website that i forgot. so i did... tried to log in.. doesnt go thru.. so i ask the guy for his password so i can try to release it from the device.. but i see no options stating i can do such a thing.. help?
(ps. my password works.. cause when i download crap from appworld, id put in my password and it works)
Password is for bb app world not BIS. I don't think you can setup Email until you get the previous owner to release the pin associated with the account.
Call the guy and tell him your getting his email and if he doesn't do the right thing your going to reply to every one by sending them gay porn, daily! Haha
I'm sure he will respond!

you should be able to go to email settings on the phone and delete the active email accounts as well as set up your new accounts...it is a icon on your list...
You need the previous owners BIS password to do this. And he can if he wants to, negatively effect the account untill he releases his pin and ownership of the device.(Account password, bbapp world password, anything associated with the previous owner)
