I tried downloading the bolt browser beta. I picked the blackberry version and a little bit into the download, it said something about signatures and it might be an untrusted source. Then it asked if I want to continue. Should I?

lol yes no harm. If you try to sign on to your email or a secure site it might not let you. To be able to you will have to go into options>preference> and unmark the HTTP square to enable you to reach secure websites like your email inbox.
