whats the deal with the bbm smiley faces on the contacts/conversation screen? sometimes they are blue and sometimes they are yellow. they always change. even in mid conversation.
they indicate your status, request sent by another person to add you as a contact, pending requets, sending a MSG, recv a MSG etc... They are in the user manual with descriptions of each, the manual can be downloaded @ blackberry.com. The one with lines coming out means the user's phone is off, red x means their status is unavailable, bubble is active convo. Also try checking out the Help menu while in the BBM.
