Blinking LED ERROR CODES

I've been googling for a while now and can't seem to find a guide to blackberry red blinks and their significations.

Wait, so your LED is blinking red all the time or what? Usually it only blinks when you have a message or something.

power ON does nothing.

error code blinking sequences, not message indicator lights.

I know this doesn't help but I had a curve come in today that wouldn't power on. It would just blink 4 times in a row. I exchanged the battery with one of ours and now it blinks twice. Dm and crack util wouldn't recognize the bb, but loader started to load the os. The craziest led error code I have ever seen was a PURPLE LED on a bricked pearl. I tried everything I could think of but I could not load an os to that one.
