blackberry trackball for 8320

hi guys, new to this but i have a blackberry 8320 which the trackball won't scroll side to side itl scrill the curser up and down though i have stripped the phone and cleaned it, i have also bought a new trackball which is now pretty much broke due to having to remove the ring to clean that one to. I am really stuck can anyone please HELPPP?? Thanks

Buy a new trackball and chrome ring and replace them.

I bought several on ebay and used to just replace them when they started not scrolling well. The key is that you need that new chrome ring too, as mentioned. You might look for a source in town - I had to do that the first time way back when, paid about 3 times as much, but needed that trackball!
