    Not true. THe BIS requires a PIN for email. Also send pin messages to other BB devies if you know their pin. Also BB msgr uses the pin number

    I use if for BBM as well. For those BES users with blocked BBM I use it to PIN message people.

    I also use it for BB Messenger. I like using messenger because I can send pics and files to friends and it does not cost anything. I do not have a text plan so this works great.
