I know the software is free because it came on my phone, but does it cost to use the program, and how does it work? I am asking this because I have recently been in another country using blackberry messenger alot and I am worried i am gonna get a huge bill at the end of the month.
It uses PIN messaging over RIM's data network. It costs nothing beyond your data plan, unless you somehow go over your monthly data quota. I recommend an unlimited data plan.
